Bathtubs
I love that the tagline is "The Future of Pleasure"
Italian Spa designer Teuco takes bathtub design to a
whole new level. The Seaside breaks the concept of
conventional bathroom constraints and becomes it’s
own indoor spa. I love the clean lines, alluring
highlights and elegant cushions that transform your
entire bathing experience.
Water cascades from an entire ledge along one side of
the tub, reflecting the light in the turbulence
created by the blower jets. The bathing side of the
tub, reminiscent of a bank or shore-line, rises
gently to a platform with comfortable cushions
inviting rest and relaxation.

From MAKE Magazine
Gear
this is a small collection of flashlights,
biking-lights and flashing LED lights they all work
with batteries so that you are mobile you also get
nice results with fireworks & torches .
there are 3 different type of lights we use:
xenon: makes a warm golden light.
LED: makes a thin precise line.
cold cathode: thick line.
but the best results you get by experimenting, use
filters and things that reflect light. (click the pic
for more)
HOW TO DO IT
the basics:
to get the best results you need a tripod. the
exposure should be around 10-30 sec. or longer if
needed. stay in front of the camera and do your
writing.
to not overexpose set the camera to about iso100, and
close your aperture as much as possible. if there is
still too much light you might have to use a
nd-filter.it is always nice to integrate the
surrounding into your picture.

Wufoo makes great use of ajax to create a very nice
user experience on the admin side of things. You can
place your finished form in either an embedded iframe
(as I have in this post) or on a dedicated web page.
You can receive new responses by email or RSS,
response data can be filtered and displayed in a
variety of ways in the reports section and there is
easy control over the look and feel of the forms your
users interact with. There are more functions
available than I’ll go into here, but the system is
still very easy to use.
Free accounts include let you create 3 forms with 10
fields, 100 submissions and 10 reports. Premium
accounts bump up these numbers, allow respondents to
upload files and be redirected to a URL of your
choosing after the form is completed. Four service
levels are available at between $9 and $199 per
month. Wufoo also supports all UTFF characters, so
forms can be multilingual.

GHDB (a.k.a. Google Hacking Database) is
HTML/JavaScript wrapper application that uses advance
JavaScript techniques to scrape information from
Johnny’s Google Hacking Database without the need for
hosted server side scripts. Here is what I need to
say about this application:
In attempt to show the real dangers of AJAX APIs I’ve
created completely harmless interface to Johnny’s
Google Hacking Database. Keep in mind that no service
side scripts are required from my side. Also, keep in
mind that all I am providing here is a single HTML
page with a few JavaScript files to glue the
interface together.

Nabolister is a Movie Sharing, TV Series linking,
Video-Site-Rating powerhouse of a community.
But it's more than just that. It's also an
incredibly powerful search engine that indexes
virtually all known movie link websites. It
wasn't just one feature that pushed Nabolister ahead
of all others, but rather a combination of all useful
tools and functions that the site has to offer.
The site itself... terrible, the content turned up by
the search engine? seemingly infinite.

This website streams videos of all genres; Bollywood,
Anime, Movies, TV Series, Cartoons and the list
continues. What's so slick about Joox is their
video quality and 100% working video rate.
Their custom script allows members to add high
quality, DivX videos from Stage6.com, which are
instantly embedded on the site in a section marked as
"recently added, needs confirmation". These
videos remain a different color from the other video
links until a specific number of members confirm that
the video works, and is categorized correctly.
What's more, if a video is removed from Stage6.com it
is instantly cleared from Joox's database, preventing
any chance you'll ever come across a broken
video!

Ace Jet 170 is the awesome blog. click the pic to see
it.
snip: "I'm an English graphic designer now living in
Belfast. Married with two very young, active, funny
and very brilliant boys. At work I develop and
implement brands and corporate IDs mostly, work very
hard and eat cake.
I love stuff and Ace Jet 170 sets out to record the
stuff I've found over the years and find in the
future. Found on holiday, at boot sales, in book
shops or junk shops, littering the pavement, dropped
into a waste bin. Interesting stuff.
And then there's the stuff other people send me. I
wasn't expecting that: more interesting stuff, from
some very nice people. That's here too.
Feast upon the stuff."

Amusing
I don't watch a lot of commercials thanks to TIVO,
but these Nasonex commercials seem to be on a lot.
They follow this strange current trend of using a 3D
animated character to shill for a product. I find
this one interesting because there have been major
refinements since Bee 1.0 and his faux French
accent... he is now Latin and played by Antonio
Banderas! and the Pepe Le Pew references have been
removed. Click the pic to view both ads and read
snarky reader commentary.
