The objective of Collective Type is to build up a
font made of different drawings that visitors create.
The font will consist of the usual 90 numbers and
letters of the Roman alphabet, this detail excludes
the special characters that some languages
(Portuguese for example) use like “ç” and “~”.
Each character is made of 225 different drawings
produced by the visitors, this means that after all
those drawings the final aspect of a letter/number is
achieved. Right now all the letters and numbers are
completed (total of 20,749 drawings) and you can
either check the whole gallery or a specific letter.

interconnecting "line dings" by Aenigma Fonts (Brian
Kent). Each character will connect to any other to
create decorative flourishes, and specific characters
