Amit Gupta wants to change the way you interact with
others. He's not just saying that, either -- it's
evidenced in every aspect of his life, be it creating
offline ventures like the co-working sessions called
Jelly which now take place all over the country,
building non-profits and writing books with Seth
Godin or teaching users how to better their
photography through his hyper-successful newsletter,

A newly emerged "fish spa" is becoming fashionable in
many hot spring resorts, and has attracted even more
customers, all curious about this peculiar treatment.
At such a spa, many Garra Rufa, a type of small
tropical fish, also nicknamed Chinchin Yu, nibble
fish or simply doctor fish, are put in hot springs.
As they can live and swim freely in at least
43-degree-hot waters, they are naturally used for the
treatment of skin diseases in such spas.
When placed in the spa, these fish can feed
themselves on the dead cells of the human body, since
they only consume such cells, leaving the healthy
skin of the human body to grow. The whole process is
reportedly free of pain. It won't hurt and the bather
might feel a pleasant tingling on his or her skin.

One of the the most amazing placse I've ever been was
a 10-12 mile backpack in from the Old Faithful area.
There's a large group of these pools there and they
are isolated and away from where fat-ass tourists can
park their Winnebagos. Not only do these bacteria
thrive in the geothermally heated water, but each
variation in temperature produces a different color.
This pools in this basin fill a palette. Psychedelic!

The inspiring work of Rachel Wingfield.
"A Synetic building is an airy and lace-like basketry
of thin arcs patterned in curvilinear triangulation.
Bows of springy material are attached in tangency to
one another in such a way that the tendency of arcs
to spring outward is symmetrically restrained by the
like tendency of other arcs. Synetic frames
self-‘inflate'.
BioWall is a hand woven three-dimensional structure
that can be crafted into lace-like walls of any
dimension. Springy fiberglass rods are bowed into
rings and woven into several dodecahedra that in turn
are joined together. The woven fibres create a
balance between the rigidity of sheet material and
the flexibility of a textile. The structure is based
on the principle of self-similarity enabling it to
work from the nano to the macro scale. It can be seen
in our natural environment in the formation of
bubbles, living cells and water molecules."
